What is Moksha in Jainism? The Ultimate Liberation

Based on Jain metaphysical texts

In Jainism, Moksha is the ultimate goal of every living being. It is the state of complete and final liberation from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth (Samsara).

The State of a Liberated Soul (Siddha)

When a soul completely sheds all its 8 types of Karmas, it becomes a 'Siddha'. A Siddha soul travels to the highest point of the universe, called the Siddha Loka, and resides there eternally in a state of pure, infinite bliss, infinite knowledge (Kevala Jnana), and infinite perception.

How is Moksha achieved?

Moksha cannot be granted by a God. It must be earned through one's own efforts by following the Three Jewels (Triratna): Right Faith, Right Knowledge, and Right Conduct.
